Bob Forster's 1972 Monte Carlo

Monte Story:
Bob Forster's Monte of the month
I bought my Monte in May of 2006 from a guy who lived right around the corner from me. I did some repair work to the electrical system and changed some little things under the hood. I put a Flowmaster exhaust system on it and upgraded it with a new sound system.
All was good Until December 31st.at about noon. A friend and I had just adjusted the carborator and transmission kick-down and we took it for a ride and it was shifting great. I hopped onto the highway to check how the kick-down was going to work. We were behind a slower vehicle on the ramp and when I got the chance to pass I gave it some gas. Before i could figure out what happened the rear end had spun around and I backed it into the outside wall. I am not sure what happened but I suspect there was possibly oil on the pavement where I jumped on the gas.
