Monte Story:

I live about 3 miles from the house where I grew up in San Antonio. As a young teen I worked at a gas station, then went to work for my dad a couple yrs. Next, I worked at a small independent auto parts house . I would turn brake drums/rotors, grind valves and surface heads. I liked that job but needed a little more income with marriage plans. At 21 I started work at Withlacoochee River Electric Coop. Been there 28 yrs now at a couple different jobs. for the last 12 yrs I have been maintaining emergency power generators.

I was into motorcycles as a kid and I was racing bikes 'til I was 16. Suddenly, with a drivers license I was ready for a car. My first  was a '55 Willys wagon. Dropped in a 327 with 3dueces and a glide, Thrush side pipes. Probably should have kept that one. Next a 65ChevyII. It was followed by my first Monte...70 300HP350/350, Another mistaken sale (It just didn't fit my pocket at that moment). I'll always want that one back. So alas, kids grown and almost out of the house I chased my current Monte...70 400sb/700r4 for almost 5yrs before I caught the fellow in the mood to sell. I don't plan on this one getting away.
