Announcement by Rob Peters:
The Fourteenth Annual Eastern Meet will be returning to Carlisle, Pennsylvania to attend the Carlisle Events GM Nationals. This show runs from Friday June 21st to Sunday June 23rd. At this time we hope to have activities planned for Wednesday June 19th and Thursday June 20th.
As yet the price of admission to The GM Nationals has not been set. I will try to work out special group pricing for our club but in years past we have not been able special consideration on admission pricing. It is important when you make your reservations that you identify The First Generation Monte Carlo Club as your club affiliation because if we get enough members registered they will provide us with a large canopy on the show field.

We have contracted for special rates with The Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott to be our Club Headquarters The Fairfield Inn is located at:

You will need to call the hotel directly and identify yourself as a First Generation Monte Carlo Club member to secure these rates. The hotel has agreed to provide these special rates for several days (Surrounding Dates) before and after the GM Nationals Event. The rates below reflect this special pricing. The hotel has again agreed to rope off the side parking lot for our exclusive use during this time. There is plenty of free trailer parking at this hotel or if you choose you can leave your trailer at the show field. The hotel provides a free breakfast bar every morning which is a big savings for those attending with families. The hotel has an indoor pool, exercise room, patio for our use. This property went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one last time we held our Eastern Meet in Carlisle.

Tony Divirgilio has also agreed to assist in the planning and running of this meet but we will accept assistance from anyone who would like to step up and assist. Please contact Rob Peters if you are planning to attend and would like to assist.
For the 2013 Eastern Meet, to speed things up at the Awards Dinner we are planning to have a Buffet. Again, this is also in the early planning stages and we are not sure if you will be restricted to the Buffet or if you will also be able to order off the menu. If you have any dietary restrictions please let Rob Peters know and we will try to take this into consideration as much as possible when selecting the items on the Buffet.
